Oxford's Electric Scooter Trial Summary Meeting
5pm, Friday 2 July 2010, H O Beckitt Room
School of Geography and Environment, Oxford
The Transport Studies Unit will be holding a summary meeting and drinks reception to acknowledge the end of Oxford's Electric Scooter Trial which recently took place in Oxford.
Supported by the Department of Geography and the Environment and School of Engineering, the trial has seen staff from Oxford City Council, Oxford Brookes and Oxford University riding electric scooters for three months.
Small presentations will be made on the findings of the trial and what we could expect from electric two-wheeled travel in the future.
The bikes will be on show, together with opportunities to talk to the trial participants about their experiences and to meet the company behind the trial, Gnewt Scoot.
The meeting is organised by Dan Robinson, Gnewt Scoot, and Lara Scott, Transport Studies Unit. Please contact Lara (lara.scott@ouce.ox.ac.uk) with queries.
