Tim Schwanen and Christian Brand at the RGS

The TSU's Tim Schwanen and Christian Brand showcased the results of the EPSRC project Maximising Home Delivery of Groceries - Insights on Consumer Behaviour at the final project workshop at the Royal Geographical Society, London to a diverse and select audience of academics, policy makers and industry. Participants learned about findings of a major survey of British grocery shoppers exploring:

  • Who buys what groceries, how, when, where and why
  • Existing consumer behaviour, attitudes and preferences
  • Trade-offs and preferences in making shopping choices
