Graduate Research in the TSU
PhD/DPhil Research
Our Doctor of Philosophy (DPhil) programme is an integral part of the TSU’s activities. TSU doctoral students are admitted to the DPhil in the School of Geography and the Environment and become affiliated to the TSU through supervision.
The School of Geography and the Environment webpages provide details on how to apply.
The topic of DPhil research should be aligned with the TSU’s research programme and the theoretical and methodological approaches with which we are currently working. If you intend to apply, we strongly encourage you to contact Prof Schwanen or Dr Jennie Middleton before submitting your application.
In discussion with either of them you will be able to refine their ideas and develop a project that we can supervise effectively.
