Dr Tadiwa Chikengezha
Research Assistant in Urban Mobility
Tadiwa Webster Chikengezha is a Research Assistant in the TSU with an interest in the everyday mobilities, social justice and sustainable development. His research is particularly focused on peri-urban marginalisation, terms of incorporation, and social exclusion as central dimensions of mobility in cities across Sub-Saharan Africa. Tadiwa holds a Master’s degree and DPhil in Development Studies from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. His doctoral research specifically investigated how the terms of incorporation for low-income household residing in the peri urban influence their mobility and accessibility.
